Mandisa ▶ 힘있는 소울 팝 스타일의 음악을 들려 주는 Mandisa Lynn Hundley는 1976년생, 미국 California주 Citrus Heights 출신으로 2006년 아메리칸 아이돌 시즌 5 (TOP 10)로 음악 활동을 시작했습니다.

2013년 발표한 [Overcomer]으로 2014년 Grammy Awards에서 "Best Contemporary Christian Music Album"을 수상했고요, GMA Dove Awards에서는 아직까지 수상은 못했습니다만 2008년 New Artist of the Year, 2008년~2010년 3년 연속해서 Female Vocalist of the Year 후보에 오르는 등 많은 사랑을 받아 왔습니다. 

'Good News'는 2017년 5월에 발표한 앨범 [Out Of The Dark]에서 들어 보는 네 번째 싱글로 가족 구원을 위해 오랜 시간 기도했고 - [Overcomer, 2013]에 수록했던 'Dear John'을 들어 보세요 - 그 응답에 대한 기쁨을 표현한 노래라고 하는 군요.
