Kutless▶ 1999년 미국 Oregon주, Portland에서 'Call Box'라는 이름으로 캠퍼스 워십밴드로 시작했고요, 2001년 밴드명을 바꾸고 BEC records와 계약하며 본격적인 활동을 하게 됩니다. 

초기 앨범들은 alternative + metal + post-grunge + soft/hard rock이 적절히 믹스된 스타일이었는데요, 많은 사랑을 받았던 워십 앨범 [Strong Tower] 등 점차 사운드와 가사면에서 대체로 이들의 음악은 워십 기반 soft rock 스타일을 지향하게 됩니다. 

GMA도브상에서는 20006년 "Group of the Year" 등 9회 후보에 올랐고, 그 동안 멤버 교체가 비교적 많았습니다. 현재는 Jon Micah Sumrall (lead vocals, acoustic guitar, piano ; 2000~), James Mead (guitar, vocals ; 2001~), Nathan Parrish (bass guitar, vocals ; 2015~), Vince DiCarlo (guitar ; 2014~), Drew Porter (drums ; 2014~)
