Darlene Zschech - You Are Great

호주 시드니에 위치한 힐송 교회의 예배 인도자로 10년을 섬긴 후 2011년부터 남편 Mark Zschech 목사와 함께 호주 뉴사우스웨일즈의 센트럴코스트에 위치한 Hope Unlimited Church를 섬기고 있는데요, 2017년 라이브 앨범은 그 동안 유방암 발견과 치료 과정이후 처음으로 발표한 앨범이기도 합니다.

"When I was at my sickest, Martin flew over from England to sit with us, sing songs over our church, and walk and talk with me and my husband, all the while speaking courage into us, It's week one of treatment and you feel like you're going to die, and Martin said, 'Darls, I know you're going to want to write songs about this season. What do you want to say?' And I said, 'I want to say 'HE IS GREAT!' And so we wrote this song together and have been singing it in our church. That's where it started... In the midst of the fire, it doesn't change who our God is. 

Cancer is a dreadful thing, The medical world doesn't like to use the word 'healed.' They like to say the word 'remission'... but I'm believing God's report over my life. I speak Psalm 91 over myself every day, I take my medicine and I take the word of God and I do my best with what I can do in the natural and trust God with those things over which I have no power."

1965년생으로 1987년 첫 솔로 앨범 [Make the Choice], 1988년 힐송으로서 첫 앨범 [Spirit And Truth] 이후로 주로 힐송과 함께 한 앨범과 몇몇 솔로 앨범 등 수 십여 앨범에서 싱어송라이터로, 워십리더로서 참여해 왔습니다.
