Skillet - Lions

Skillet은 두 번의 그래미상 후보, 다섯 차례 GMA 도브상 수상 그리고 빌보드 차트에서는 크리스천 앨범/싱글 차트는 물론 전체 음악 장르를 아우르는 '빌보드 200'과 같은 앨범차트와 대중 Rock 계열의 싱글 차트에서도 매우 뛰어난 성과를 보여 주어 왔습니다.  

강렬하면서도 때로는 감성적인 발라드에도 뛰어난 역량을 보여 주고 있는, 한마디로 참 걸출한 밴드로 특별히 여성 연주자와 남성 연주자의 음악적인 조화로움이 정~말 멋진데요, 다만 그 동안 멤버 교체가 비교적 잦았던 것은 다소 아쉬운 대목입니다.

현재는 4인조로 부부인 John Cooper  (유일한 창단멤버 lead vocals, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboards ; 1996~) + Korey Cooper (rhythm guitar, keyboards, synthesizers, vocals ; 1999~) ; Jen Ledger (drums, percussion, vocals ; 2008~) ; Seth Morrison (lead guitar ; 2001~)

[Unleashed] 앨범에는 멜로딕 + 강렬한 사운드의 곡들이 대부분입니다만 몇 곡의 멋진 발라드 곡들도 포함되어 있습니다. 그 중에 한 곡으로 오늘 소개하는 노래 'Lions' 들어 보세요 ~ :)
