Jaci Velasquez - God who Moves The Mountains

CCM을 좋아하는 이들 사이에서 "참~ 예쁘다 !"는 표현도 많이들 했던 미국 Texas주 Houston 출신의 1979년생, 1992년부터 활동하며 인상적인 노래들을 매우 많이 발표했습니다. 

[Heavenly Place, 1996] ~ [Jaci Velasquez, 1998] ~ [Crystal Clear, 2000] 초기 세 장의 앨범은 엄청난 사랑을 받았고, 스패니시 언어로 발표한 앨범과 싱글 또한 큰 인기를 모으기도 했었지요.

신인상을 포함 일곱 번의 GMA도브상 수상, 다섯 번의 그래미 후보, 16개의 크리스천음악 차트 1위 등 한창 왕성한 활동을 하던 중 부모의 이혼, 자신의 2003년 결혼~2005년 이혼~2006년 재혼, 그리고 영화 출연 등으로 음악 활동은 침체된 면이 있습니다.

2017년 3월, 5년 만에 발표한 첫 워십 앨범은 어린 시절 데뷰 때 마음 + 연륜이 잘 결합된 듯 좋은 느낌이 드네요 ~ :)
