Chris August - Pieces

1982년생, Texas주 Garland 출신으로 NBA를 꿈꾸던 그가 작곡, 연주, 녹음 등 독학으로 음악을 

공부하며 만들었던 첫 인디 음반을 통해 대중음악에서 유명한 Jessica와 Ashlee Simpson의 

아버지인 Joe Simpson과 매니저 계약을 하며 Simpson 자매, 싱어송라이터 Ryan Cabrera 등과 

음악 작업 및 공연에 참여하는 등 대중 음악에서 비교적 많은 활동을 했다고 합니다. 

2004년부터 몇 년간 대중음악 활동을 하며 점점 멀어졌던, 그가 정말 하고 싶은, 해야 하는 

일에 대해 깊은 묵상을 하며 크리스천 음악인으로서의 본격적인 활동을 시작합니다.  

첫 앨범 'No Far Away' 활동으로 2011년 GMA 도브상에 5개 부문 후보, 신인상, 남성 보컬 등 

3개 부문 수상, 2012년 2개 부문 후보에 오르기도 했고, 3장의 앨범을 통해 감성적인 좋은 

노래들을 여러 곡 발표해 왔는데요, 오늘 소개하는 곡은 Bethel Music의 Amanda Cook의 

노래를 리메이크했습니다.
