Casting Crowns ▶ 미국 Florida주 Daytona Beach에서 1999년 워십을 이끄는 밴드로 시작, Georgia주를 중심으로 활동을 본격화하면서 2003년 첫 공식 앨범 [Casting Crowns]를 발표했습니다. 

MercyMe와 함께 미국 크리스천의 정서를 가장 잘 반영한 밴드로 꼽을 만한 이들인데요, 작곡자로서 입지가 탄탄한 Mark Hall (lead vocals, songwriter, 1999~)을 중심으로 Juan DeVevo (guitar, vocals ; 1999~) ; Chris Huffman (bass, vocals, 2001~) ; Megan Garrett (piano, keyboards, vocals, 2001~) ; Melodee DeVevo (violin, cello, vocals, 1999~) ; Brian Scoggin (drums, 2009~) ; Josh Mix (lead guitar, vocals, 2012~) 일곱 명의 멤버로 구성되어 있습니다.

그래미상에서 2006년 Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album [Lifesong]을 수상했고, GMA 도브상에서는 2005년~2009년 5년 연속 Group of the Year ; 2010년 Artist of the Year ; 2017년 Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year 등 16회 수상했습니다.
